I have always had a great passion for the human mind, interpersonal relationships and traveling.
One day, when finishing my Msc in Clinical Dynamic Psychology, I came across an article, that discussed Art as a Bridge to communicate one's inner reality to the outside world.
So I proactively contacted the author of the paper and, determined to meet him in person and I took a one-way ticket to London.
Once I arrived, alone, with no contact, and nowhere to stay, I asked if I could work within the clinic.
It wasn't possible; they were only hiring students pursuing master's degrees from the most prestigious colleges in England. So I rolled up my sleeves, and worked as a volunteer throughout the summer.
In September they decided to hire me, because they valued my perseverance.
I began a journey filled with individual and group interviews where English language embraced art and where patients coloured my life with new nuances and brushstrokes.
Following this experience, I continued my training in a private psychiatric clinic in Bologna to get a 360-degree view of the individual and their uniqueness.
I don't believe in dogmas, but in openness and curiosity: so I mastered in individual and group psychology in both Italian and English!
Fascinated by the body movements and facial expressions of patients in England and in Italy, I decided to complete a Master's degree in Scientific Analysis of Non Verbal Behaviour and Facial Expressions.
...And it is true that you never stop learning, the path of psychologists is very long and requires many years of training and experience in the field.
So I continued with a master's degree in group therapy, a master's degree in couples therapy and humanistic interpersonal-oriented psychotherapeutic training.
Always intrigued by the brain structure and the purpose of the various areas of the brain, I decided to work as a researcher at Middlesex University in London within the Department of Neuroscience, collaborating with an extraordinary international team.
After this intellectually rich and insightful experience, I began working in a renowned eating disorders clinic in the heart of London, where I worked with patients from all over the world.
Until I decided, as a result of many requests, to open my own private practice and offer a space for psychological support and to those around the world who want to gain more awareness of themselves, their interpersonal relationships and improve their psychophysiological well-being.
Since then I have been working with CEO’s, entrepreneurs, doctors, managers, actors, waiters, retail assistants from all around the world all with one thing in common: the desire to go beyond the surface, and unveil their identity.
